Instruction

Our stone carving group has many years of experience and varied styles and interests.  We would love to support you in exploring the art of stone carving.  This activity is an excellent artistic outlet, and can have benefits for those needing to quiet their mind, and be present in the moment. 

Please note that you do not have to be "artistic" in order to try stone carving!  We will start you off with a blank (preformed shape such as a whale, turtle or bear), and guide you through the process of carving the stone. 

We are currently exploring venues to hold weekend workshops.  Should you be interested in attending a one or two day weekend workshop, please send me an email.  I am also open to discussing any private instruction that you might be considering, either for an individual or small group.
